A new identity for a historic Northumberland wedding venue

The project
Situated in a secluded wooded ravine on the banks of the river Coquet, Brinkburn Northumberland provides the perfect backdrop for weddings, retreats and social events.
Over the last year Brinkburn has diversified their business, becoming a holiday destination as well as a wedding venue.
With this change in direction, TAC was commissioned to develop a visual identity and website to reflect their unique and modern approach to weddings, celebrations and holidays.



Visual & digital identity
As part of the commission we redesigned the entire brand, this included a new logotype, visual language, printed materials and website. Influenced by the historic grounds and buildings at Brinkburn, we focused on a refined and timeless aesthetic.
This approach was adopted when redesigning the website while also making sure the venue’s offerings were front and centre. We worked closely with Brinkburn to identify what their customers wanted and expected. The result was a friendly, personal and contemporary website.






Increasing bookings
The website needed to showcase everything that Brinkburn has to offer, putting a strong emphasis on highlighting their new holiday packages.
Our research and design process allowed for the creation of a seamless user journey, allowing users to easily find information on weddings, holidays and any bespoke packages.
Quick access to Brinkburn’s booking platform also allows for a higher conversion.
