The project
Those That Know is an online retailer offering heritage clothing influenced by vintage workwear and military styles. Born out of an appreciation of clothing that was made to last, Those That Know’s ethos is focused on buying quality over quantity. Understanding the passion and creative influences of every maker the brand represents is key to their success, as well as telling the story behind each product.
Those That Know appointed TAC to create a new identity that captured the heritage and hand-crafted spirit of the brand. Along with printed and digital marketing materials, we were also tasked with developing a website that allowed the retailer to sell their curated collection.



Branding
Our identity for Those That Know maintains a utilitarian and pragmatic approach coupled with a hand-crafted warmth. Informed by tactile techniques such as ink stamps and early letterpress printing, this direction aligns itself with the brand’s ethos of championing creators and makers across the world.



Social presence
We delivered a series of social templates for the brand to use across their various platforms. Not only were these required to announce new product launches and brand relationships, they also needed to tell the story of the brand and highlight the creator and makers the company works alongside.





E-commerce platform
We used WooCommerce to provide a mobile-optimised selling platform that enables Those That Know to offer a premium shopping experience to their customers. The website extends the built-in functionality of WooComemrce with intelligent product recommendations, pre-ordering and deposit payments.
